Cheesecake with Handpicked Blackberries

 Today I made a cheesecake. I had a dinner party to go to tonight with a group of fellow Virgos and Libras and wanted to bring something special. It is blackberry season now in Washington and they are everywhere. I got the raspberries at the store. The cheesecake was delish and the party was delightful.

Blackberries and Yardwork

This evening when I got home from work I attacked the weeds and overgrown-ness of my yard. It's very therapeutic to rip out ugly plants and chop up Blackberry bushes. However, I did take a walk later in the evening and gleaned a large container of ripe blackberries...the first of the season. All in all, it was a very satisfying evening. I listed a pair of great summer sandals in my Etsy store, The Mod Pod.

I took a walk around the neighborhood

Yesterday I walked to my secret blackberry picking spot. On the way there I passed some great gardens and took pictures of some cool plants. As always, I was looking up and looking down.... enjoy.
